Abbiamo trovato molto interessante la sezione sulla storia di Singapore al Madame Tussauds. La piccola crociera in barca è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Non era troppo affollato, quindi è stato facile camminare. La collocazione dell'esperienza VR ci è sembrata sbagliata: tutto era tranquillo mentre si guardavano gli oggetti esposti, poi all'improvviso c'erano le urla dei partecipanti alla VR, il che è stato un po' snervante e ha rovinato l'atmosfera.

Anche se ho trovato un po' di difficoltà nell'ottenere il biglietto vero e proprio dalla società che lo vende (Headout è un intermediario), alla fine tutto è andato bene e mi sono goduta l'intera esperienza. Abbiamo potuto percorrere entrambe le linee, in entrambi i sensi, da e per il porto ed è stata una bella giornata.

L'ascesa è stata molto piacevole, con una splendida vista in tutte le direzioni. Dal punto di vista tecnico, la funivia di Mount Faber è stata migliore di quella di Sentosa, in quanto più scorrevole nel superare le torri di sostegno. Gli assistenti sono stati molto utili per salire e scendere alle fermate. Non ero sicuro che si potesse scendere da qualsiasi stazione e risalire per completare il viaggio. Questo avrebbe potuto essere spiegato meglio nei consigli per la prenotazione, ma fortunatamente il giorno è andato tutto bene. Il lato negativo è che non c'era la possibilità di stampare i biglietti per il cellulare, nel caso in cui mi avessero rubato il telefono.

L'acquisto online è stato abbastanza semplice e i biglietti sono arrivati quasi subito al telefono. Tuttavia, le informazioni chiave erano difficili da trovare o mancavano. Una di queste era cosa fare dopo... ad esempio evitare la biglietteria e andare direttamente all'imbarco. Sfortunatamente, io e il mio compagno abbiamo aspettato all'ufficio di mOunt faber ed eravamo in coda... solo noi.... nessun altro, ma indovinate un po'? La signorina hitler, razzista, omofoba e di cattivo umore, si è rifiutata di rispondere a una semplice domanda, finché non abbiamo aggirato le corde e non siamo entrati nella sua zona di accesso al percorso di cordata, e tenete presente che non c'era nessun altro lì, assolutamente nessuno. Se i biglietti ci avessero detto di saltare la fila, non avremmo mai dovuto affrontare quella vile scusa di essere umano. Il resto dell'esperienza è stato assolutamente eccellente. Le funivie erano pulite e ne avevamo una tutta per noi. C'era un fotografo locale per immortalare l'esperienza, ma i suoi prezzi di 45 dollari per una foto ci sono sembrati un po' esagerati anche per Singapore. La vista dalle funivie era superba e l'esperienza complessiva è stata altamente raccomandata. Se vi unite a Mount Faber, evitate la biglietteria. Ha bisogno di una qualche forma di formazione sul servizio clienti e di almeno una lezione su come essere un essere umano decente. Meglio ancora, con un atteggiamento come il suo, dovrebbe essere licenziata.

Baby prams are not permitted inside the attraction and must be left at the designated drop-off point. Please note that management is not responsible for loss or damage to prams or valuables left unattended.

Madame Tussauds Singapore is wheelchair-friendly. Guests will be assisted by staff using a dedicated elevator, though only two wheelchairs can be accommodated at a time. \

Wheelchair rentals are not available on-site.

All wax figures are displayed on the ground floor for convenient access.

Marvel 4D Cinema: This experience includes strobes and sudden seat movements. It is not suitable for expectant mothers, guests with heart, back, neck, or similar conditions, or those with medical sensitivity to strobe effects.

VR Racing Experience:

Riders must be at least 1.4m tall and under 120kg.

Not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with heart/back issues, epilepsy, schizophrenia, broken limbs, or mobility limitations.

Children under 12 or shorter than 1.4m must be accompanied by an adult. Babies-in-arms are not permitted.

Singapore Cable Car Tickets

This experience is accessible by wheelchairs and pram/strollers.

Guests using wheelchairs can alight at any cable car station, where lifts are provided for your convenience.

Madame Tussauds Tickets

Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or above.

Children aged 12 years and below, and of height below 1.4m have to be accompanied by an adult during the boat ride.

Guests are welcome to touch and pose with the figures—just handle them gently to keep them in perfect condition.

Singapore Cable Car Tickets

The capacity for each cable car cabin is limited to 8 guests.

Cable Car Sky Pass, Mount Faber Line, and Faber Licence ticket holders can upgrade one-way of their round trip to a SkyOrb Cabin for $15 at Mount Faber counters or online.

The cable-car lines will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from the below dates:

Mount Faber Line: Closed from 8 September to 1 October 2025 (reopening on 2 October 2025)

Sentosa Line: Closed from 2 October to 20 October 2025 (reopening on 21 October 2025)
