The calm contrasts with the violence of the events recounted. The visit becomes almost introspective. Arriving at Napoleon's tomb is a powerful moment. The place commands deep respect. No waiting time and considerate visitors. I spared myself the weapons museum and made full use of the time for the Invalides and the Rodin Museum.
