The guide was speaking good English and had nicely crafted hand outs which filled in the view of the sites with the "reconstructed" objects. The pace of the tour was soft and no hurry. It was good to get to different locations by transport, as it had been very hot. The guide helped navigate the best places for good photos :). I liked his personal story embedded in the explanations of the cultural and historical information. I know a lot about the tradition of being a Buddhist monk (better before marriage), rituals, wedding, food (experienced a local street cafes), tourist police, donations of rice and etc :). That was a deep easy dive :).

The temple sites were absolutely beautiful, really enjoyed being able to explore them and learn more about them. Our guide Fern shared some fantastic snippets from the peoples' history that tied in well with each location in addition to the more scientific facts. The palace grounds and buildings were also wonderfully eclectic. Fern was very attentive to any needs our group had, and there were plenty of opportunities for some individuals to have a break whilst others continued exploring. The place we went for lunch was also excellent and well organised. Highly recommend, would happily take this tour again!

Loved the tour. The best thing about our tour was our guide, Fern. She was energetic, knowledgeable, friendly and truly concerned with everyone having a good time. Her love and knowledge of her country's history was impressive. We learned quite a bit from her.

Our tour guide Bonnie was AMAZING! She was funny and knew a lot of information and explained the importance of everywhere on the tour with us! And everything was organized and went according to the itinerary. 10/10! Kop khun ka Bonnie!

The tour was very nice and espacially the tourguide Ratima was very good. She knew a lot about the places we visited and the tempels we're amazing. Ratima had also a lot of humor which kept us going thourghout the day. Good food during lunch as well. I can recommend this tour.

Die Tempelanlagen von Ayutthaya sind auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Bei den einzelnen Stops wurden jeweils gratis Regenschirme als Sonnenschutz bereitgestellt! Unser Führer war sehr bemüht und war auch immer wieder gerne bereit, den ein oder anderen Schnappschuss von uns mit der Sehenswürdigkeit im Hintergrund zu machen!

What to bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes and modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees, as you will be visiting temples and religious sites.
