Arrived superrrrr early but totally worth the lack of sleep! The sunrise from the balloon is unreal, like the colors went all pink and gold. Our pilot Jamal was so chill and explained everything (felt safe the whole time). There was a bit of waiting around before we actually took off, but the fresh bread + mint tea made it OK. Don’t skip the Berber breakfast after, the honey pancakes are YUM. My bf took a million pics, lol. Would 100% do again.

First balloon ride for us! The drive out was a little bumpy but got there in time to catch the balloon inflating—kinda wild seeing the flames up close. Sunrise was STUNNING but tbh it got a bit crowded in the basket, like lots of elbows everywhere. Still, the views over the Atlas were wow. Breakfast was tasty but a bit rushed. We skipped the camel ride, didn’t feel right for us. Worth it for the sunrise alone!

Can’t believe I finally did this!! Got up at 4am (def not a morning person) but the hot air balloon ride made it SO worth it. Staff was super friendly, kept joking with us and took group pics. The view over the mountains is something I’ll never forget. A bit chilly up there so bring a jacket. Breakfast was more than I expected—those olives with bread? Chef’s kiss. Wouldn’t bother with the camels next time.

Went with my best friend for her birthday—hands down the highlight of our trip! The pickup was on time (surprisingly haha), and watching the sun come up from the balloon was pretty much magical. Shoutout to our pilot who played music during the flight, really set the vibe. Afterward, we warmed up by the fire and devoured the breakfast. If you’re on the fence, just GO.

So, I took my parents (both in their 60s) and they LOVED it! We got picked up at the riad, everyone was so patient helping my mom in and out of the balloon. Views are honestly epic, but there was a long wait before takeoff (something about wind?). Breakfast was nice, but they ran out of eggs. If you’re scared of heights, maybe sit near the middle of the basket.
