it is a tiny little town, albeit SO WORTH VISITING! we went during october and the buses only run 1 1/2 hours apart. since we only did a day trip from bilbao, it worked for us to see as much but we were able to squeeze in a stop for the funicular because we started our tour on its first trip. with us still having ample time for lunch and our ride back to bilbao. during the busy months, the buses run every 30 minutes, so be aware of the bus schedule. the tour was informative and casual. if you're in and out of donostia, this will really be enough to give you a comprehensive layout and history of the city. enjoy!

The ride through San Sebastián was great only it was a disaster to find the pick-up points. The App offered no support. Finally called and then I was given a Map of boarding places which was very unclear. Finally after walking around for more than an hour we found a boarding place. In the bus I could only hear the Basque text and not the English for example.
