Took my parents for their anniversary. The tour was perfectly paced—didn’t feel rushed (which is rare!). Our guide, Roman, was a LEGEND. He knew all the shortcuts for great views, and even pointed out the seals sunbathing by the pier. Alcatraz blew my mind—audio tour is so well done. Muir Woods is pure magic, like a fairyland. Would 100% do it again.

SO worth the money. Didn’t have to worry about parking or tickets—just sat back and took it all in. Muir Woods is like another world. Sausalito had killer seafood (try the fish tacos!). Alcatraz is wild—can’t believe people actually lived there. Go early if you can, crowds get big by noon.

Went solo, made some friends on the bus (shout out to Pete from Australia if ur seeing this!). Muir Woods was lush and chilly (bring a light jacket, trust me—the fog is REAL). I wish we’d had more time in Sausalito tho, barely enough to grab a coffee. Alcatraz is eerie but fascinating. Lots of stairs, so heads up if mobility is a thing. Staff were friendly and chill. 4 stars since I felt a bit rushed in Sausalito.

Great experience, but a couple hiccups. The bus was 10 mins late, which made us a bit anxious. Once we got going, though, everything was smooth. Muir Woods is magical, Sausalito is adorable, and Alcatraz is fascinating. Bring water, it gets dry on the island.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but ended up LOVING every second. The Muir Woods trees are just... MASSIVE. Took about a million pics (tho the lighting gets weird under the canopy). Our guide, Simon, made us laugh the whole drive, and he even remembered my son’s name. Sausalito is super cute—grabbed a gelato by the water. Alcatraz audio tour is kinda haunting tbh. Not for little kids maybe. Really packed ferry but worth it!

Went with friends and had a blast. Muir Woods is epic, but bring a sweater. Sausalito is cute, wish we’d had more time there. Alcatraz is a must for history buffs. The only downside: our bus was late, so the day started a bit off. But staff made up for it with extra tips for best photo spots.

My parents and I did this as part of our US trip. Muir Woods was peaceful, but there were a lot of other groups, so it didn’t feel as wild as I hoped. Sausalito is very photogenic. Our guide was very patient with our questions. Alcatraz is intense—so much history! Would’ve loved a bit more time in the woods.

Did this as a family of four. Kids (12 & 9) liked Alcatraz more than the woods, weirdly. Sausalito was a quick stop—just enough time for a pastry and some pics. Muir Woods is quiet and peaceful, but yeah, it’s busy. Staff were helpful with directions. Bring snacks, options are limited once you’re out there.
