What To Expect
The London Dungeon offers a 110-minute walk-through experience filled with laughter, fun, thrills, and chills. It makes amazing use of its theatrical actors, special effects and sets that enhance the gripping re-telling of events from the past. Don’t be surprised if you bump into ghastly characters such as Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd during your walk-through. The 360° sets guarantee authenticity and storytelling at its finest.
As part of your journey, you’ll also head to the Whitechapel Labyrinth of mist-filled East London streets, houses torn apart by plagues, the terror-filled torture chamber, and truly understand what would have happened if Guy Fawkes would have succeeded in his what he set out to do. The London Dungeon essentially summarizes 1000 years of London’s history into an entertaining timeframe of 110 minutes. The maximum tour group size is 45 people. To guarantee your entry during peak visit times such as weekends, bank holidays, and summer holidays, it is recommended to book your tickets in advance. There may be a slight delay in the entry during peak hours.
The attraction is open on all days of the year except Christmas Day.

Your 15-minute time slot is your time of arrival to The London Dungeon. You can arrive anytime within said 15 minutes and the staff will ensure your entry as quickly and smoothly as possible.

By Tube: The nearest tube station to the London Dungeon is Waterloo Station.
By Bus: Buses 211, 77,381, and RV1 get you to the London Dungeon.
Vehicle Parking: No parking space is available at the London Dungeon. The nearest car park is Q-Park Westminster.
There is no specific dress code as such but comfortable shoes are recommended for your visit as it involves walking.
Wheelchair-bound customers can get in touch with the front entrance staff on arrival to be guided towards a step-free entry. Please note that there are restrictions applicable on the rides.
For the ‘Drop Dead’ ride, the participant needs to be at least 1.4 metres tall. For the ‘Tyrant Boat Ride’, the participant needs to have a minimum height of 1 metre. Both rides are not recommended for the following:
- Those with heart complaints or pacemakers
- Those with back/neck complaints
- Those with broken limbs or have recently undergone surgery
- Those with Photo Sensitive Epilepsy
- Pregnant women
Prohibited items at the London Dungeon include sharp objects, weapons, motorcycle helmets, large pieces of luggage, skateboards/roller blades, cameras, video recording equipment, and lastly, food and beverages.
The recommended minimum age for a child to enjoy The London Dungeon is 12 years, however, the decision is upto the accompanying adult whether he wishes to take the child along or not. Guests under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult (over 18 years of age).
