My daughters knew nothing about the Phantom of the Opera so it was fun watching their faces and body language as the emotions of each moment played out. We all loved the richness of the costumes and set designs. My husband and I saw the opera in Vancouver many years ago and I fought hard not to cry as I remembered singing the duets with him for months afterward. The Phantom's beautiful lingering "love me" broke my reserve. Losing your love is just like that moment! I'm crying as I write.

Les places choisies offraient une vue partiellement obstruée. Cela ne m'a PAS surpris, car la réservation l'indiquait clairement. L'avantage, c'est qu'il s'agissait de cinq places d'affilée à l'arrière. Comme j'ai des difficultés à me déplacer, c'était parfait. Une jeune femme, Mia je crois, s'est vraiment surpassée pour m'aider à me rendre aux toilettes et à accéder à mes places. J'espère que ce message lui sera transmis.

This version of R&J is just incredible!! The theater itself is really beautiful. The show was really special and the atmosphere just perfect. And the cast was obviously really really great with Sadie Sink, Noah Juoe and Clark Gregg.

« Mamma Mia ! » est mon film préféré depuis toujours, et assister à ce spectacle était un rêve. La distribution était vraiment excellente, et le jeu des acteurs ainsi que leurs voix étaient incroyables. La salle était très jolie et l'organisation était impeccable. JE LE RECOMMANDE VIVEMENT

J'avais quelques doutes avant de venir, mais le temps a filé à toute allure pendant le spectacle. Je me demandais comment j'allais tenir deux heures et demie, mais le rythme des scènes et le jeu des comédiens m'ont vraiment impressionné. En tant qu'architecte, j'ai été fasciné par la scénographie et la technologie utilisées. C'est sans aucun doute un incontournable à Londres.

Une mise en scène très soignée, des artistes extrêmement talentueux tant au niveau du jeu d'acteur que du chant. Rythme, mouvement, enchantement. Une histoire rendue vivante et passionnante.

En arrivant, je m’attendais à adorer Oliver, le personnage principal, car je pensais qu’il interpréterait la plupart des chansons ; j’ai donc été ravie de découvrir des morceaux chantés en chœur comme « Oompa-pa », « I shall scream Mr Bumble » et « It’s Your Funeral ». L’ambiance du spectacle change sans cesse, on a vraiment l’impression de vivre un véritable voyage. Fagin était également exceptionnel : Simon Lipkin est un acteur très physique qui maîtrise parfaitement ses tics et ses manières. J’ai hâte d’y retourner.
