Your Experience
Your tour will begin once you have been picked up from your hotel. With a headset for each visitor, you can enjoy a brief overview of the geography and history of the area through a multilingual audioguide. You will first visit the Thingvellir National Park, well-known for its remarkable tectonic and volcanic activity, and home to one of the most spectacular rift valleys known to man, right on the shores of Iceland' largest lake, Thingvallavatn. It is also considered one of the most culturally and historically significant locations in Iceland and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004 since the earliest human settlements were around this region, and it later became the site of the country's first Parliament. On your tour, you will also pass Almannagjá, the campsite for the Parliamentarians.
You will then make your way to the geothermal area of Haukadalur, home to the still active geysers, Strokkur and Geysir. Geysir happens to be the first geyser described in the printed source and was one of the first famous geysers in Europe (also serving as the origin for the word 'geyser'). Geysir's eruptions reach a height of 70 meters to this day and the sight of Strokkur erupting every 10 minutes is one that is sure to be memorable. Reaching nearly 40 m in height on some occasions, the towering geyser is a display of the extreme geothermal activity in the region.
The Gullfoss waterfall, also known as the Golden Falls is a waterfall situated in the canyons of southwest Iceland and presents one of the most unique and stunning spectacles in the world. A two-step waterfall, Gullfoss consists of water melting from the Langjokull glacier, as it plummets into a steep gorge cut into the natural rock formations in the region. The spray of water, as it cascades to the ground, with a backdrop of the famous Icelandic natural beauty is a truly unforgettable experience!
If you're pressed for time and want to see the best the Golden Circle has to offer, this is surely the tour for you, taking you through the stunning sites of the region in a mere seven and a half hours!

Timings
The tour is available from Monday to Sunday and departs every hour from 8 AM to 12 PM. The tour lasts 7 and a half hours with mandatory 45-minute stops at Geysir Hot Springs, Gullfoss Waterfall and Thingvellir National Park
Dress Code
In Iceland it is always wise to dress in warm, waterproof clothes. Bring a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good outdoor shoes are recommended.
Ticket Options
At the time of checkout, you will have the option to book tickets for both adults and children. Tickets for children between the ages of 0 and 11 are free and tickets for children between the ages of 12 and 15 have reduced pricing so please select these according to the age specified for these tickets. Please carry valid ID for all members of your party for whom you're booking reduced pricing tickets to confirm their age if required.
In Bus Audio Guide
We recommend you bring your own headphones since they will fit you best and this is better for the environment. If you forget yours, headphones can be purchased on board the bus.
