Stand Tall on Mount Seorak
Get a pick-up from any of the designated spots and head towards Seoraksan National Park in an AC vehicle. Follow your guide for a short hike as you navigate through stunning lagoons, lakes, and rare species of endemic flora. Get clear views of jagged peaks, and lush rainforest, and keep an eye out for musk deer and other local wildlife. Glance over the mind-blowing scenery and check out the distant East Sea from a height of 1,708 meters.
Cycle at Nami Island
Your next stop is Nami Island which was famously featured in the popular K-drama Winter Sonata, which was set on this island. The tree-lined walkways, towering redwoods, majestic ginkgos, and elegant pines make it a year-round destination. Explore the island on foot or by renting a bicycle, discovering numerous points of interest including Central Korean Pine Tree Lane and Metasequoia Lane. During spring, the branches and pathways are covered with cherry blossoms providing an enchanted cycling experience for those who ride under their blooming canopy.
Pass through ancient Ginkgo Tree Lane lined with 200-million-year-old trees that are now considered living fossils. Keep your cameras on standby and take a quick stop at Glass Sequoia Bridge and Maple Lane. The place can get crowded but don’t worry, because every corner is worth the shot!
