Purely dedicated to snowflakes, the Snow Crystal Museum of Asahikawa remains widely unrecognized and underrated, but if you wish to experience off-beat places, then a visit to this museum is an absolute must! The museum is built using the European Byzantine style of curved domes and arches which give one an impression of elegance. Descend down a spiral staircase and make way to the corridor of ice. Drenched in a sort of magic, this corridor also features windows displaying huge ice columns. After this, you will enter the Music Hall, the ceiling of which is painted a beautiful oil shade of the sky. This hall is used for concerts, weddings, and other events. All in all, the museum evokes a fairy-tale-esque architectural experience.
