Me sorprendió la cantidad de artefactos de Pompeya que llegaron hasta aquí. El museo tiene una colección EXPANSIVA. Si te gusta leer los carteles y sacar el máximo partido a tu visita, te recomiendo que dediques al menos 5 horas. Yo me centré en los artefactos relacionados con el Vesubio y pasé por alto las demás partes del museo, pero aun así tardé 5 horas. Lo que me llevé fue diferente de lo que esperaba: no hay moldes de las víctimas en este museo (y si los hay, de alguna manera me los perdí, ¡y me daría mucha pena!) Pero lo que obtuve fue una visión general de lo que pudo haber sido la vida allí. Cualquier decepción por no haber visto las figuras (víctimas) que había previsto inicialmente fue sustituida por una apreciación de cuánto más sé ahora sobre la vida y la cultura de las ciudades afectadas por el Vesubio. Cuando vaya a Pompeya mañana, sé que todo lo que he visto hoy hará que las ruinas "cobren vida" y que sea una experiencia mucho más rica en texturas, en lugar de limitarse a ver ruinas e intentar adivinar cómo era y se sentía la vida allí. Aparte de la impresionante colección, el museo en sí es un edificio precioso... No tenía un mapa, pero tiene forma de "I" mayúscula y las salas que se unen a las alas en ambos extremos son simplemente impresionantes. Hay una cafetería, un salón y muchas otras oportunidades para descansar los pies, la espalda o el cerebro, incluidos dos jardines. Recomiendo encarecidamente este museo. Una auténtica joya de museo. Techos altos, hermosas estatuas, suelo de mármol dinamita. Todo el museo es una obra maestra. Espero tener el placer de visitar esta joya arquitectónica en el futuro. El billete con código de barras facilitaba la entrada al museo.

Fue un gran museo por el que pasear y seguir aprendiendo sobre nuestras culturas anteriores. Aunque hoy en día la tecnología está más avanzada, la gente del pasado hizo cosas que allanaron el camino. Usted quiere ser decepcionado con un recorrido por el museo.

No se mencionó al principio que las entradas tardarían dos horas en estar disponibles. Viajamos al museo sin entrada y ya esperábamos tener que volver a pagar. Parece que el supuesto tiempo de espera para entrar no fue causado por el museo, sino por ellos. El museo no estaba abarrotado. Sin embargo, 4 euros extra por entrada no es razonable.
