The Swim Adventure Plus program provides a unique way to connect with nature and its many interesting species, and one such creature you will have the absolute pleasure to witness will be the cheerful dolphin. During this experience, you will not only view these playful creatures but touch, pet, hug, kiss, and swim with them! The true appeal lies in the fun activities you experience along the way, such as grabbing onto the dolphin's dorsal fins and diving into the water on its belly, or balancing on a boogie board and riding the wave just as the dolphin propels.

Important Information

Don’t include infants under 3.3 ft in your reservation as they are free of charge, however, be sure to add them in the comments section of your reservation

In Puerto Aventuras, groups have a maximum of 10 people for a closer experience

The use of a life jacket is required in all water programs

Children over 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone by paying the adult rate

Children over 3.9 ft up to 4.6 ft must be accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per kid)

Children over 3.3 ft and up to 3.9 ft must be accompanied by two paying adults (2 adults per kid)

Children under 3.3 ft will be considered infants and will perform Encounter activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they fit the vest)

Currently, the facility is NOT accepting US dollars in cash (check-in, restaurant, boutique, and photos). However, they do accept Mexican pesos in cash. If you want to use an international credit or debit card, payments will be done in Mexican or US currency

Safety Requirements

For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is prohibited. Professional photos will be available for sale

Expectant mothers of less than 5 months can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a waiver

Getting There

By Car: Take the Highway 307 (Carretera 307) that goes from north to south along the Mexican Caribbean coast. While leaving from Cancun, follow the signs to Playa del Carmen and Tulum, Puerto Aventuras is located between Xcaret and Xpu-Ha. Once you get to the Puerto Aventuras complex, you will find the signs that will lead you to Dolphin Discovery facilities
