Vienna River Dinner Cruises

We really enjoyed the evening boat trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet was well stocked with everything you could imagine. However, we would like to mention one small drawback: The meat skewers were very dry, they were hard to eat. They could do with some improvement. The crew / the organizer are expressly not responsible for this: Some guests pounced on the buffet like starving animals. By the time we got a main course for the first time, some had already been to the buffet for the third time. By then, for example, the fish was finished, after which they pounced on the dessert, some of which was left uneaten on the tables when we left the ship. Indecent, subterranean, but apparently not to be changed.

We traveled on the Kaiserin Elisabeth and were very impressed. The grill buffet was also very good, unfortunately the quantity of some dishes was too small, although the ship was not fully booked. The crew on board, including the captain, were very competent and very friendly. The tour is highly recommended. Due to the prevailing heat, the planned fireworks display could not take place, but as an alternative all guests were offered free Prosecco.

The evening boat trip was fabulous ... didn't book a meal in advance but had the option to eat and drink on upper enclosed deck when on board. The experience was even better when we went outside on to the outer deck. ... You definitely need 3 hours (rather than the 1 hour daytime option)

We had a very nice evening on the ship, the food was very good and plentiful. There was a good selection of drinks and the prices were not overpriced. The service staff were very friendly and took good care of everyone. You could tell that the musicians were passionate about Viennese songs, they showed a lot of knowledge and joy in their performances and interacted with the audience in a friendly way. The best part was enjoying part of the evening on deck in the open air. The English-language offer could be improved: the service staff spoke good English, but a few English words from the captain and musicians would certainly be nice, as I observed that half of the visitors were not German-speaking, so they would certainly feel more welcome. Great atmosphere, nice trip with funny interludes and great songs. The food was excellent and tasted very good. This trip is an experience for young and old and needs to be repeated.
