Such a great experience being able to see the engine room. Plenty of different areas to sit and the cafe/bar served lovely dinks and food.

All fantastic. The smooth spin on the steamboat (from someone who suffers from travel sickness!) BBQ food was delicious and so well organised - no dash for the tables! Sheep shearing demo very informative. Highly recommend the day trip.

Today we stepped back in time as we boarded the TSS Earnslaw, the soft music, aged woodwork and sound of the steam engine, we walked between the working engines and watched the engineer shovelling coal into the 4 fires/boilers as the cranks were turning the large shafts, photos and videos could never do this experience justice, the heat, the smell, the sounds, so so pleased we did this, then there's the views, Jurassic beauty largely untouched and majestic, Queenstown would have to be the gem of NZ.
A must do.

From age five to 76, there was something magical for everyone in our group. Watching the inner workings of the TSS Earnslaw, touring the farm, feeding the animals, and skimming stones on the lake made for a day full of simple joys and shared memories. A truly wonderful family experience.

We did the cruise plus gourmet BBQ lunch and farm show and enjoyed it very much. The ship itself was lovely and it was interesting to see the workings of the steam engine. The views along the very smooth trip were absolutely stunning. The lunch was so good, especially the lamb and beef, so tender and moist. The sweets were equally delicious, blueberry cheesecake and mint choc mousse, so yummy. The farm show was short but good. The young handler explained everything about the farm, sheep and dogs very well and her demonstrations were good too. It was great seeing her dog Mist round up the sheep on a very steep paddock. All in all a fabulous afternoon
