Douro River Cruise

Insgesamt gute Erfahrung, aber waren nicht für die geführte Tour über die App vorbereitet. Fand es heraus, etwa 15 Minuten in der Reise, dass es verfügbar war.

Me and my mother went to Douro Valley few days ago with this company. We visited 2 vineyard tasted high quality vines and eat launch than take a boat trip. Our guide was Claudia. My mother who travelled almost all country around the world and I agree that Claudia was the very best guide we ever met. She is very charismatic, talented and professional guide. We recommend this tour and Claudia as a guide and Carlos the driver.

It was one of the most picturesque places we have travelled to. The scenery is beautiful. Unfortunately we were on a very large bus, over 24 people on the tour, not the mini bus mentioned, nor did we stop at the train station, perhaps because of the size of our group? However it didn't really matter as we had a fantastic time with a great group of people on the tour. We stopped at Sandeman and Crofts wineries, both excellent. We received two tastings at Sandeman and three at Crofts. Lunch was relaxing and plentiful. Our tour guide was Francisco and he was marvelleous. Special thanks to our bus driver who did a fantastic job! We also loved the music on the bus, nice touch, synchronising the songs, appropriate to the venue.

I have had in all my travels. Our friendly and professional guide and expert driver, João kept our small group of seven well informed and his charming colleague, Sofia made the day even more enjoyable. The scenery is spectacular and the amount of time allocated to each place we stopped at was just right. I would definitely recommend this tour as a way to see the beautiful Douro Valley.

This was a lovely experience for our group - an excellent and friendly guide Christian, comfortable modern van, wine tasting and visit to winery, amazing views, visit to Amarante and Pinhao and also a boat trip- all in 10 hours. It was really worth it and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The tour guide was outstanding and kept it interesting all the way. Thank you.

This cruise was great. We took the 11 hours, breakfast included, great lunch plenty of food and a bottle of wine per couple, included a tour in a vineyard with wine tasting. A bus brought us back to Porto right to the center, it was A Great Experience!

We wanted to go from Porto to Pinhão to our hotel and we considered this the most interesting experience because we could bring the suitcases on board and we could also eat an excellent lunch with very good wines and get tanned on the deck surrounded by beautiful landscapes of the Douro Valley.

First off this is the tour you want. Our Guide Nuno has a degree in history and we learned lots about Portugal, the Douro and the land. He took us to two great wineries, both very different but great in their own ways. One was a big producer, but was doing everything ecologically. The second was a very small woman run winery with very unique wines. The lunch was incredible. Cooked over wood fires in a hundreds year old kitchen. Served with their own wines made on site. Fun, wonderful family run place. We spent so much time at the lunch that our boat tour had to be shorter. But that was fine as the weather was a bit rainy. I would highly recommend this tour as the guides were incredible and due to the small size of the group we were able to go to very small vineyards. Also they chose family run places where you get the feel of being part of the family.
