Rom für Foodies

Das war eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Die Verkostung mit Nina war nicht nur ein kulinarischer Genuss, sondern auch eine sehr lehrreiche Erfahrung, da sie uns etwas über die Geschichte von Prosecco, Balsamico-Essig und Trüffeln beigebracht hat. Wie sie hergestellt, gelagert und bewertet werden! Vielen Dank, Nina, für diese FANTASTISCHE Zeit!! Patrick war ein ausgezeichneter Lehrer, der uns die Kunst der Pastaherstellung beigebracht hat! Mit seinem Humor und seiner Leidenschaft hat er 16 Menschen aus Australien, Irland, den USA und Portugal zusammengebracht und eine Atmosphäre geschaffen, in der wir uns wie eine kleine Familie gefühlt haben!

Es war mein letzter Tag in Rom und dieser Ausflug gab mir die Gelegenheit, die toskanische Landschaft und ihre wunderbaren Weine kennenzulernen. Unsere Führerin Anna war sehr informativ und fröhlich, und unser Führer Luke war ausgezeichnet. Das Gleiche gilt für Stefania, die uns durch Montepucciano geführt hat.

I’m gluten free and usually have to miss out on food tours but this one was SO thoughtful. Our guide Giulia made sure I had subs at every stop and even got me a different dessert so I didn’t feel left out. Went with my partner and we both left full and happy. 100% recommend if you have diet needs.

Didn’t expect to enjoy a cooking class this much but honestly, it was EPIC. The chef was super chill, played old Italian songs while we cooked, and made sure everyone got hands-on. I now know how to do pasta from scratch (gonna show off at my next dinner party). The pistachio gelato…wow. Would do it again!

Took my two kids, ages 7 and 11. The chef kept them entertained the whole time, and didn’t mind the mess. We got to decorate our pizzas with faces (my daughter made a smiley face out of olives). Tiramisu was a HIT. Highly recommend for families.

Absolutely LOVED this class. Chef made everyone feel welcome, even us shy folks. Food was incredible and I actually learned a few tricks!

Did this with my mom and little bro, and honestly, one of the best tours we’ve done in Europe. Our guide, Luca, was hilarious and had crazy stories about the area. Can’t believe how much we ate! The highlight was this tiny family place where the owner just kept bringing food out. Also, you can’t take pics in the wine cellar (boo), but it’s worth seeing!

I’m not usually a tour person but my boyfriend talked me into this—so glad I did! Our guide, Eliana, was super sweet and really passionate about Roman food. Loved that she remembered everyone’s names. The suppli at the first stop was crunchy perfection. It was soooo hot outside but the shaded streets helped. Would recommend doing this on your first night in Rome to get all the local tips.
