Der Führer war freundlich und kenntnisreich. Tour endete in anderthalb Stunden. Nicht verärgert, da wir guten Wert für unser Geld bekam, aber es machte nicht viel Sinn, dass eine 30-minütige Express-Tour für 9:30 Uhr beworben wurde, wenn sie nicht einmal Menschen in die Kathedrale bis 10:15 lassen.

Es dauerte 45 Minuten, um in die Kathedrale zu gelangen, und wir mussten uns in die Schlange der Öffentlichkeit einreihen. Der Reiseleiter gab gute Informationen. Die gesamte Tour dauerte mehr als eine Stunde. Aus diesem Grund schlage ich das Wort "Express" aus dem Titel und der Beschreibung der Tour vor.

Die Führerin war sehr sachkundig und ich bin überzeugt, dass sie ihr Honorar verdient hat. Aber leider war es kein Skip-the-Line-Ticket, um Klarheit zu schaffen. Um die Kathedrale zu betreten, braucht man weder ein Ticket noch eine Gebühr. Man muss sich nur früh anstellen, bevor sie geöffnet wird. Hätte ich gewusst, dass man keinen Eintritt und keine Reservierung braucht, wäre ich einfach allein hingegangen und hätte mich selbst auf die Suche gemacht. Ich hielt es nicht für nötig, Geld für dieses Erlebnis auszugeben.

Gebucht für 11.30 plötzlich auf 12.30 geändert - sehr unbequem, aber wir hatten bezahlt, so stecken! Ausgezeichneter Reiseführer, aber wie die meisten nahmen wir an, dass das Ticket den schnellen Eintritt beinhaltet. Hatte nicht erwartet, lange Schlange, um in zu bekommen!!!

An accessible entrance is located on the right side of the Cathedral for guests with motor disabilities. The dome climb is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with motor disabilities.

Additional Information

Florence Cathedral is open to visitors from Monday to Saturday, 10:15am to 3:45pm. It remains closed on Sundays and during religious celebrations.

Entry is subject to a security check and dress code compliance (knees and shoulders must be covered. Sleeveless tops, short, and other revealing clothing are forbidden).

There is no cloakroom or luggage storage on-site.
