Det var indsigtsfuldt. Ingen problemer med bus eller chauffør. Guiden taler helt sikkert bedre engelsk, end jeg taler polsk, men hun blev ved med at forvirre mig, hver gang hun sagde pre-ZONErs. Jeg kunne ikke finde ud af, hvem denne gruppe mennesker var, før jeg var længere væk og næsten ikke kunne høre hende. Til min store overraskelse sagde hun faktisk PRIZoners.

Det er ikke et sted, hvor man har det sjovt, og det havde jeg heller ikke forventet. Jeg satte pris på min anmeldelse, da guiden var fantastisk med sin viden og den måde, han respektfuldt præsenterede livet og døden i lejrene dengang. Nogle af udstillingerne var hjerteskærende, men skal ses som en pædagogisk påmindelse om, hvor grusom historien var dengang. Turen var fremragende organiseret fra afhentning i Krakow centrum til aflevering samme aften. Turen var meget informativ og på samme tid tung at tage ind i elendigheden og mordet, der fandt sted på dette sted. Turlederen var fantastisk og kunne svare på alles spørgsmål.

Vores guide, Helena, var ekstremt vidende og medfølende og gav indsigtsfulde og respektfulde kommentarer under hele turen. Besøget i både Auschwitz og Birkenau var dybt følelsesladet for os begge, og det var en tankevækkende påmindelse om en så vigtig del af historien. Vi satte begge pris på muligheden for at reflektere og lære. Jeg kan varmt anbefale denne tur, især med en så fremragende guide som Helena.

Take in the haunting remnants of the camp, visit the barracks and the ruins of the gas chamber, and pay homage to the lives lost. A local host will meet you near Auschwitz I and ease your entry with pre-booked fast-track tickets.

Tailored tours and fast-track entry

Choose from English/Italian/German/French/Spanish/Polish-speaking Auschwitz-Birkenau guides or the Last-Minute English guided tour for spontaneous decisions. Your ticket includes a fast-track entry into both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II–Birkenau, bypassing the long queues. With headsets provided for an immersive auditory experience, you are set to delve deep into the Holocaust's harrowing history. Between the tour of Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II–Birkenau, there will be a 10-15 minute break for lunch, after which you will board a bus for the second part of the visit.
