We visited this museum when we were unable to get tickets for the art museum. We were very pleasantly surprised! We learned quite a bit about Picasso's early life and family and enjoyed seeing his childhood drawings. There was more art in the museum than we expected. The museum is located in his family's home and is rather small but there is a larger exhibition space a block away. We saw a wonderful exhibition there on his many pieces of art themed around Francoise Gilot. Our only suggestion would be for a few more benches in the exhibition hall.

Even though I purchased a ticket online I still had to stand in a very long line. Fortunately, the queue was decreasing quite efficiently and I stood for 30 minutes before entering. Impressions great , very interesting egstawa and exhibitions of works. I would be happy to return again

I felt unfairly treated inside the venue. I kept holding my child's hand the entire time, as we'd been reminded at the former residence museum a few days prior. This time, I was especially careful to prevent my child from touching the artwork. Yet we still received stern warnings from the venue's security personnel. Not only did they insist we hold hands and prevent the child from touching the paintings, they even demanded we maintain a distance from the artwork. Where exactly are these rules written? The "no touching" rule is understandable—while children might not break the protective glass, it would increase maintenance work. But the hand-holding and distancing requirements baffled me. Are they truly necessary? Are children inherently incapable of controlling themselves? If these rules are truly mandatory, why weren't they prominently displayed at the entrance? Or specifically addressed to every visitor with children upon entry? Moreover, I observed other visitors with children who weren't holding hands, yet no staff intervened. This mirrors my experience at the former residence museum, where after being reminded by staff, I saw other children not holding hands without being stopped. So why single us out? Do our children have "uncontrollable" written on their foreheads?

Beautiful pictures from an early age. Well documented and good clear comments. In his birthplace I would have liked more about his background and family life.
