Day Tour
Take to the local markets and Palermo's vibrant city center alongside your expert local guide. This relaxing 3-hour walking tour lets you sample the best local street food. Designed for curious travelers and adventurous foodies, this tour lets you learn all about the local cuisine and culture with no filters! You'll explore the local markets of Capo and Vucciria, sampling the most authentic street food specialties and learning about their history and recipes. Try the arancina (meat rice ball), the sfincione (tomato sauce focaccia), the vegetarian panelle and cazzilli fritters, the challenging pani ca’ meusa (veal offal roll), the famous cannoli with ricotta cream or the huge broscia col gelato (ice cream sandwich) and some extra dairy treats! You'll also enter an old inn and sample some fresh snacks, washing it down with some good wine and beer. The best part is meeting the Palermitans and experiencing the local hospitality firsthand- they really treat you like you're one of them!
Night Tour
Your night tour promises the same level of deliciousness, only your route is around the intricate, dark alleys of port La Cala and La Vucciria. Begin your tour with a welcome toast and bruschettas. You'll then take to the streets and indulge in unique night-time bites, like the rare rascatura croquette and some challenging street food cooked on barbecues. All the major Palermo street foods will be sampled, be it the panelle chickpea fritters or the potato croquette. Drinks will be accompanied with your food samples: most paired with a mug of refreshing beer.
