Summits, sunrises, and swimsuits

Swap your snooze alarm for a real thrill – climb Mount Batur before dawn! This active volcano near Kintamani is your gateway to an unforgettable sunrise. Enjoy a seamless hotel pickup, followed by a briefing with some coffee/tea and snacks to fuel your trek. The trek up takes about two hours, but you’re in for a treat. As you reach the summit, the sky transforms from dark to blazing orange, illuminating Mount Agung and the lake below.

Celebrate your volcano victory with a yummy breakfast (banana pancakes, anyone?) cooked by volcanic steam vents. Next, head to a local coffee plantation. Imagine rows of coffee trees stretching out under the Bali sun. Sip on some Balinese coffee and tea, find your favorite flavor, and grab a bag (or two) to take home as a souvenir.

Next up is a refreshing dip at Kanto Lampu waterfall. Tucked away in the Gianyar regency, Kanto Lampu boasts cascading waters that tumble down terraced limestone rock formations. Imagine cool, clear water cascading down several tiers, surrounded by lush, green jungle.

Itinerary

1:30am to 2:30am: Pick up from hotel
2:30am to 3:30am: Drive to start point
3:30am to 5:30am: Briefing, tea/coffee, followed by the trek to summit
5:30am to 7am: Sunrise with breakfast
7am to 8:30am: Trek back to starting point
9am to 10am: Coffee plantation visit
10am to 11am: Drive to waterfalls
11am to 12pm: Waterfalls
12pm to 1pm: Drop back to hotel
