What to bring

Keep a valid photo ID handy, as it may be required at check-in to verify the name on your reservation.

Dress warmly with layers such as a windproof jacket, cozy sweater, long pants, and closed shoes to stay comfortable in the cooler marine climate.

Bring sun protection and sightseeing essentials like sunscreen, sunglasses, a snug-fitting hat, binoculars, and a camera.

Accessibility

This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.

If you require assistance while boarding or have limited mobility, contact the operator in advance to confirm any accommodations.

Additional information

Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure for a smooth check-in process.

Tours operate in most weather conditions, but departures may be cancelled if conditions are unsafe.

Only light snacks can be purchased on the vessel; full meals are not included in the tour price.

Parking at Granville Island is not included and tends to fill up quickly, so arrive early if you’re driving.

Transportation to and from the departure location must be arranged independently.

If you are prone to motion sickness, consider carrying non-drowsy medication like Gravol.

The tour is free for infants aged 2 and below.

A Whale Sighting Guarantee is included year-round—if whales are not spotted, you can rebook another tour for free.
