The treatment was relaxing and invigorating. The massage was a tonic for tired legs from weeks of travelling. The building had an ancient feel to it which enhanced the experience.

So relaxing and rejuvenating! The staff is attentive and professional. I had never been to a hamam and am so glad that I did! I highly recommend THIS hamam - it was built in the 1500's and just felt "other worldly". Get a massage; I floated out!

Expérience magique dans un lieu fantastique. La dame qui s'est occupée de moi était fabuleuse

Step into a 16th-century Ottoman bathhouse designed by the legendary architect Mimar Sinan and experience a timeless Turkish bathing ritual in one of Istanbul’s most historic hammams.

Getting started

Your experience begins at Cemberlitas Hammam, a beautifully preserved Ottoman bathhouse in the heart of Istanbul. After presenting your booking confirmation at reception, staff will guide you to the changing area where you’ll receive towels and prepare for your traditional hammam ritual.

What to expect

Cemberlitas Hammam

Experience a traditional Ottoman hammam ritual in a historic marble setting, from relaxing on the heated marble platform to kese exfoliation, foam massage, and a refreshing cool-down.

Refresh & relax: After the cleansing ritual, you’ll rinse off and take time to unwind as your body cools down. With fresh towels and basic amenities provided, you can relax and fully enjoy the calming atmosphere of this historic bathhouse before continuing your day in Istanbul.
