We bought an all day ticket and arrived at 9.30am, we didn't wait at all. Our changing room was very clean and the wrist strap secured it for the day. The weather was very warm, clear blue sky, so there were a lot of sun beds out and people 'reserved' with towels. We stayed outside for a few hours then ventured into the pool building. There were saunas, steam rooms and multiple pools of varying temperatures. We had a large chicken roll for lunch which cost around 2500f, coffee and beer was also available. The atmosphere was great, adventure pool was good fun and everyone was friendly. Brilliant value for money, an essential Budapest experience.

2 expériences extraordinaires, que ca soit la croisière nocturne sur le Danube qui permet de découvrir la facette absolument magique de Budapest, ou les thermes de Szechenyi, dans un cadre unique, un bâtiment splendide et des bassins externes magnifiques avec une température agréable (38°) à condition d'arriver un peu tôt vers 8h maximum pour mieux profiter des lieux. Par contre les piscines internes semblaient assez sales et mal entretenue, je ne les ai pas du tout touché. Je recommande les différents saunas surtout celui de sels.

Les thermes de Széchenyi valent vraiment le détour ! Les bains extérieurs sont super agréables, surtout le petit tourbillon dans la grande piscine, très amusant. L’ambiance est détendue et l’endroit parfait pour se relaxer. L’intérieur est sympa aussi, avec plusieurs bassins de températures différentes, même si certaines zones ont parfois une odeur un peu désagréable. En revanche, les indications ne sont pas toujours claires et il manque de toilettes. Malgré ces petits points négatifs, l’expérience reste incontournable à Budapest !

    Really enjoyed the day in the spa. It was not crowded at all and we were able to experience both the indoor and outdoor baths easily. We lingered over breakfast so did not arrive until after 11am but were able to walk straight in without any queuing. We spent most of our time outside despite the 4 degree air temperature. It was a glorious day and both my sister and I managed to get sunburnt. Remember to bring your sunscreen even if you are visiting in winter. Would highly recommend and don't stress if you forget your flip flops or towel. There is a shop at the entrance for everything you will need. The cruise was a great way to relax after the baths but one small thing to note is that even though there is a bar to get food and drinks on board if you get up to go someone will take your seat, especially if you arrived early and snagged a good one!

    Ingresso alle terme semplice, siamo entrati subito! Spogliatoi un po' arretrati.. tanti armadietti in poco spazio e con solo due panche che non riuscirebbero a contenere tutte le persone. Le terme esterne semplicemente: FAVOLOSE; quelle interne lasciamo un po' a desiderare, non proprio pulite però comunque era fattibile starci meno che in una dove l'acqua era verde e il fondo delle piscina era nero... che dire neanche un piede abbiamo immerso. Le saune erano fantastiche solo un po' troppo affollate. Per le doccia potrebbero mettere magari un doccino come si deve piuttosto che una specie di tubo e via ed anche i phon non erano un granché. Ristorante decisamente troppo caro, pur vero che le porzioni erano oneste però per i prezzi lasciam perdere. Nel resoconto una giornata all'insegna del relax!

    Pleasantly surprised by this trip, we got there quite early (0900) and made the most of it, did get busy later and large queues to enter when we left (1200) Pools very warm, outside swimming pool was sparsely populated though, you need swim caps for this one. Small 'lazy river' which really whips you round fast! Didn't visit the indoor pools, but lockers and changing rooms good, reception good and the whole place seemed more modern than its 100 year age.

    My wife and I had a great time however I assumed towels would be supplied or even rented out if needed like many thermal spas I have been to around the world this was not the case so I paid £16 each for the cheapest towels which were as thin as a tea towel not worth more than £3 ,nobody wants to feel when they arrive at such a place that they have been taken advantage off . Also advice on how to use the locker system would help as it's a bit chaotic

    Esperienza bellissima Le terme sono spettacolari Non credo ce ne sia un altra simile. Uniche al mondo Sono enormi Acqua caldissima nella piscina di destra Al centro ci sono le piscine da nuoto stile olimpiche E a sinistra una piscina un po meno calda con una corrente che ti soinge al centro. All interno dell edifico ci sono diverse saune e bagni turchi Piu' altre piscine Consiglio cabine ...molto comode Esperienza che consiglio assolutamente

    • The audio guide is available in 23 languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Polish, Slovak, Croatian, Hebrew, Romanian, Serbian, Ukrainian, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Slovenian, Czech, Chinese, Japanese, Bulgarian, Turkish, and Hungarian.

    • The guided route is subject to change based on the Hungarian National Assembly schedule or other state events

    • The duration of the guided tour includes the security check

    • For security reasons, you will not be allowed to stay in the Parliament after the tour

    • The entrance for Parliament visitors is at Gate XII (not at Gate X).

    Széchenyi Spa

    • Due to autumn maintenance, the outdoor thermal pool will be closed from September 22 to 28, 2025, and the outdoor adventure pool will be unavailable from September 29 to October 5, 2025.

    • Starting August 1, 2025, entry to the bath will no longer be permitted for anyone under the age of 14.

    Timings

    • The Parliament building is open every day from 8am to 4pm.

    • Group visits start from the Visitor Centre.

    • The Parliament building, the Museum of the Hungarian Parliament, and the Visitor Centre are not open for visitors on 24 Dec, 25 Dec, 26 Dec, and 1 Jan.

    Szechenyi Spa

    • Daily, and during all seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter) - 9am to 7pm (last entry at 6pm).

    • All thermal facilities of Szechenyi Baths and the outdoor pools are open from 9am to 10pm.

    • All visitors need to leave the pools of Szechenyi by 9:45 pm (15 minutes before the bath closes).

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

    • Please display the same at each ticket redemption point along with a valid photo ID. Students must show a valid student ID.
