Every part of this tour was magic - even if you're only half a cricket fan! Our guide Stewart (spelling) was really good. His knowledge of the game of cricket and it's history, his stories, his connection with everyone in the group and his knowledge of the SCG was incredible. Our group had a good mix of people from cricket playing nations. Highly recommend this tour - particularly if Stewart is the guide!

We went on this tour as a corporate event. Our tour left on time, but we ended up taking longer, 2 hours for the 90 minute tour, mostly because we had questions for the guide, and our team of construction engineers were looking at the buildings more so than the sporting side of things. But we enjoyed it, and our tour guide was very cooperative with such an unconventional group. Apparently we asked questions she'd never heard of before! We were quite proud of that!

Rod the tour guide was awesome, so knowledgable and his relaxed pace and style and delivery was joy . What we enjoyed the most was learning the fascinating history of the site, it's development over the years and access to the members area , long bar and changing rooms, fabulous unforgettable experience. Next time we watch an event at the SCG on the TV it's going to mean so much more.

The highlights for me were the changerooms and media centre. I enjoyed listening to the guide because he was passionate about what he was talking about and had a lot of knowledge about all things SCG and Cricket in general.

It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and bring sunglasses and a sun hat.

What’s not allowed

Outside drinks, fireworks, weapons, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, video cameras with tripods, cameras with detachable lenses larger than 200mm flag poles over 1.5m in length or flags/banners over 1m x 1m in size, and smoking are not allowed.
