Fun experience! My daughter and I both are very scared of heights, but we were able to power through and get a great picture in the glass picture area. The area where you step out in it has a glass bottom top and sides. The staff was very nice. I didn't realize it, but as soon as I stepped out in the glass, I grabbed his arm for stability. He did not seem alarmed at all. I asked him if it was OK if I held onto him and he just chuckled and said of course. I wish I could remember his name. He was very kind. It was a fun experience.

Such a beautiful and fun experience! The views of New York City are absolutely breathtaking, and there are so many amazing photo spots. 📸✨ The glass floor and the outdoor deck make the experience even more exciting. SUMMIT One Vanderbilt was definitely one of the highlights of my New York trip! The experience is unlike a typical observation deck — from the moment you step inside, everything feels immersive, modern, and beautifully designed. The views of Manhattan are absolutely incredible, especially with the floor-to-ceiling glass windows giving you a completely unobstructed view of the city. The mirrored rooms were my favorite part, with reflections of the skyline creating some really fun and unique photo opportunities. ✨🏙️ I also loved how there were different spaces and levels to explore, so it didn’t feel like you were simply going up to a viewpoint and leaving. Every room had something different to see, and the combination of art, mirrors, glass, and the NYC skyline made the whole experience feel surreal. I’d recommend going around sunset if you can — watching the city transform from daylight to sparkling night views was beautiful. Definitely wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking around quite a bit, and bring sunglasses because some of the mirrored spaces can get surprisingly bright! Overall, such a fun experience and one I’d definitely recommend if you’re visiting New York for the first time.

    The Edge was fantastic! But, there was a weather warning and I wanted to cancel. No one on the phone was available because it was after said time. But weather does not have a time limit. The news said it would be very very bad ( flood warning) in NY and I wanted to cancel. I checked online and you have 5 reasons to cancel. Weather is not one of them. That was scary and frustrating. I do. It know how you can resolve it- but when we went to the Edge and spoke to the lines people at the bottom- they were surprised that I could not cancel. That being said God changed the weather for us and it was amazing!!!!! Also nobody really was up their and I got to embrace NY and just loved it!!!! Such a great experience!
