Took my mum on this Porto wine boat thing and honestly, it was WAY better than we expected. You know when you book something and think, 'eh, we'll see,' but then it turns out to be a total win? That. The guide (wish I’d caught his name, curly hair, BIG smile) was super chill and didn’t make us feel dumb about not knowing anything about wine. We sipped on three types and I def liked the white the best—wasn’t too sweet. Weather was just right, breezy, not too hot. Also, they gave us snacks which my mum demolished, lol. Boat was clean. Not too crowded, but I bet it gets busy on weekends. Take a jacket if ur going in the evening, trust me, it gets nippy.

Had a BLAST with my mates! Not usually a wine guy but this was heaps of fun. We laughed the whole time, staff were up for a joke or two. The city looks EPIC from the river. Def try the white port—so different from what I expected!

Too many people, couldn’t hear the guide. Wine was fine, views are nice.
