Santorini: Caldera Morning Boat Tour to the Volcano

Your tour begins with a bus ride to Athinios port. Once you reach, step aboard a Greek traditional boat and set sail for the lava islet of Nea Kameni. The islet was created after a volcanic eruption during the Minoan civilization, and it lies in the middle of the submerged Santorini caldera. Walk an ascending path to the crater of the still-active volcano to savor its incredible sights (1.5 hours, approximately). Later, make your way to the second lava islet, Palea Kameni. Here you will have the chance to enter the green sulfur waters of its hot springs and go bathing in its warm therapeutic mud. After this pampering session, head to the traditional island of Thirassia to spend some time exploring (1.5 hours). Drop by the village of Manolas, which you can access via the winding stairs either by walking or riding a donkey. Finally, hop on a boat and make a short stop at the port of Armeni, in Oia before sailing back for Athinios.
