Especially when you go on a clear day the views are fantastic. Can see Niteroi, the cliffs, the harbour as well all of the city center of Rio de Janeiro and Copacabana. Can even see Rocinha and Dona Marta Favelas. Despite the lower height Sugar loaf has views as impressive as Corcovado. Perhaps given its proximity to the water. A bonus too is that the lower height means it is less likely to be covered in clouds and still get decent views

We were a group of 5 people from different backgrounds. It was a one day tour of Rio and Sugarloaf was in the second half of the day. It was a fantastic bright sunny day and from the mountain top the city view was fantastic. It was almost bird's eye view once you are on top. The overall experience was amazing and very satisfying.

After spending my time eating a wonderful meal on the first stop, I photographed the landscape and returned to the cable car for the next leg of the journey to the top. Once there, I bought an ice cream cone and waited with others catch a glimpse the Christ The Redeemer statue in the distance when the clouds finally parted.

Was really looking forward to this!!! But it exceeded my expectations!!! - the views were absolutely incredible! The Priority boarding was so quick & easy it was definitely worth the extra cost! We took a short helicopter ride around Christ the Redeemer which we weren't intending to do. It would have scored 5 except I had to download the app to get tickets & despite doing so the app wouldn't let me access tickets so when we arrived the ticket office had to contact Headout to get the tickets sent over. It worked but can't understand why they didn't just email tickets like Viator do???!!! It was unnecessary stress.
