Did the Big Bus Madrid tour with my partner last week. Seats were a bit hard for the 90ish min ride, but you get used to it. Our guide, Ines, was charming and cracked jokes along the way—she did this quick switch between Spanish & English so sometimes I got a bit lost (my Spanish is zerooo). The views were EPIC, esp around the Palace at sunset. Not a ton of time to snap pics tho, bus moves fast. Still, super helpful if you wanna get a feel for the city layout.

Took my parents on the Big Bus tour and it was a BLAST. Weather was sunny, so we sat up top. The guide, Jorge, kept pointing out quirky facts (like a statue that’s supposed to bring good luck if you wave at it??). Didn’t mind the no hop-off thing, actually—it meant we didn’t lose anyone! I’d say bring water and maybe a hat, the sun gets intense. Def worth the price for the laughs & learning.

Loved all of my tour today. Maria, the guide was very knowledgeable and injected just the right amount of humour into her talk. Her English was very good and made it so easy for us. So often a guided tour is covered in so many different languages that the building/ park etc are long passed by the time the guide has finished her spiel!. Margaret
