Floating above the harbor on the Singapore Cable Car feels less like transportation and more like a slow-motion postcard. One minute you’re in the city, the next you’re gliding toward Sentosa with ships scattered below like toy boats in a bathtub. The cabins are surprisingly smooth and quiet, giving you plenty of time to snap photos—or pretend you’re starring in your own travel documentary. The views stretch from lush green hills to glittering skyscrapers, with a dash of thrill when you remember you’re suspended high above the water. It’s equal parts scenic and slightly daring, in the best way. If you’re heading to Sentosa anyway, skip the ordinary commute. Take the sky route. It turns “getting there” into one of the highlights of the day.

Well I booked tickets online for my wife and I and two grandchildren to take the Mount Faber Line cable car from Mount Faber station to Sentosa Island, having promised my grandson I would take him on it. Booking was really straightforward; reciving QR codes for each person. We wennt on a Saturday morning and there was no queuing. QR scanned and on we went. It's quite a long ride and the children loved it especially when we passed over a cruise ship moored below.

It's an amazing experience. Things are very smooth since booking to final Cable car experience. The world seems so beautiful with loved ones from the top without even 0.00000001% risk. That much safety precaution it's been taken. I urge everyone to experience this when they visit Singapore and book it through headout without any hustle. My husband is afraid of heights but nevertheless he came with me and our children to experience this once in a lifetime dream vacation. The experience of riding the cable car was unforgettable, looking up at the sky, and looking down on different scenery was so breathtaking!

I spent my birthday month on the same date /month on the cable car ride. It was a nostalgic experience as cable car same age as me..52 yes The view from top was so amazing and the clearance queue was quite fast. The best timing when returning back time taking the last ride around 630-700pm where you can see the sunset . It was so fascinating.

Keep in mind flammable materials, lithium batteries, motorized wheelchairs, electronic scooters, and helium balloons are not allowed in this experience. Pack wisely!

Smoking is prohibited inside the cable car.

Madame Tussauds Tickets

Baby prams are not permitted inside the attraction and must be left at the designated drop-off point. Please note that management is not responsible for loss or damage to prams or valuables left unattended.

Madame Tussauds Singapore is wheelchair-friendly. Guests will be assisted by staff using a dedicated elevator, though only two wheelchairs can be accommodated at a time. \

Wheelchair rentals are not available on-site.

All wax figures are displayed on the ground floor for convenient access.

Marvel 4D Cinema: This experience includes strobes and sudden seat movements. It is not suitable for expectant mothers, guests with heart, back, neck, or similar conditions, or those with medical sensitivity to strobe effects.

VR Racing Experience:

Riders must be at least 1.4m tall and under 120kg.

Not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with heart/back issues, epilepsy, schizophrenia, broken limbs, or mobility limitations.

Children under 12 or shorter than 1.4m must be accompanied by an adult. Babies-in-arms are not permitted.

Singapore Cable Car Tickets

This experience is accessible by wheelchairs and pram/strollers.

Guests using wheelchairs can alight at any cable car station, where lifts are provided for your convenience.

Madame Tussauds Tickets

Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or above.

Children aged 12 years and below, and of height below 1.4m have to be accompanied by an adult during the boat ride.

Guests are welcome to touch and pose with the figures—just handle them gently to keep them in perfect condition.

Singapore Cable Car Tickets

The capacity for each cable car cabin is limited to 8 guests.

Cable Car Sky Pass, Mount Faber Line, and Faber Licence ticket holders can upgrade one-way of their round trip to a SkyOrb Cabin for $15 at Mount Faber counters or online.

The cable-car lines will be undergoing scheduled maintenance from the below dates:

Mount Faber Line: Closed from 8 September to 1 October 2025 (reopening on 2 October 2025)

Sentosa Line: Closed from 2 October to 20 October 2025 (reopening on 21 October 2025)
