The professionalism and friendliness of the onboard staff. The buffet was a lovely surprise as it was absolutely delicious. The trip to Cooper's Mill was a great stop too.

The only Mandurah cruise that ventures up the Murray River with a land stop at Cooper's Mill, a heritage island reachable by boat only.

The ticket covers four courses—morning tea, antipasto board, buffet lunch, and desserts (menu attached)—plus complimentary tea and coffee.

The route covers Peel Inlet, the RAMSAR-listed Creery Wetlands rich in birdlife, the Murray River to Forrest Highway Bridge, and Mandurah's canals.

Mandurah's bottlenose dolphins are frequently spotted along the route, with a local expert guide delivering live commentary on the region's history and nature throughout.

Head out failed to inform us that the time had changed from 10.00am to 11.00 am. This caused us a lot of angst as we had an 88 year old out of the 3 of us. Head out also failed to inform us that we needed to take our own cups for tea/coffee.

Climb aboard and kick back as you travel WA’s history-rich river on a half-day sightseeing lunch with Mandurah Cruises. Feast on a delicious buffet menu with desserts while winding waterways of Mandurah city, Peel Inlet, and the serene Murray River.

Your cruise begins in Mandurah, where you'll take in the gorgeous views of pristine waterways and the luxury homes built on the banks of the canal. You'll pass the beautiful Creery Wetlands, home to an abundance of birdlife, then it's on to Peel Inlet. A frequent spot for local bottlenose dolphins, the Inlet boasts stunning scenery and the chance for you to see wild dolphins in their natural habitat. The cruise moves out to the Murray River where the landscape changes from open waterways to bushland and quaint riverside houses.

Enjoy your buffet meal as you cruise the Murray River whilst listening to the on board commentary about the area’s fascinating history. Check out some local wildlife, birds, flora and dolphins along the way. Visit a remote island for a guided walk of Cooper’s Mill, a heritage site only accessible by boat. As you cruise, enjoy complimentary hot drinks and a licensed bar on deck.

What to bring

Guests must be able to offboard and onboard at a fixed jetty or via an onboard ramp, which requires independent mobility and a small step.

The island path is flat but unpaved and not suitable for guests unsteady on their feet.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure; boarding does not begin until all members of your group have arrived.

Seating is allocated on the day on a first-come, first-served basis; arrive 30 minutes early if a preferred location matters.

Online bookings close 24 hours before departure.

This cruise requires minimum passenger numbers to operate; if numbers are not met, an alternative date or full refund will be offered.

Cooper's Mill heritage island is a public site accessed via a public jetty; access may be delayed or prevented by other vessels.

Visit to Cooper's Mill is at your own risk; do not wander into uncleared bush.
