Istanbul is an amazing city. So much to experience you get sensation overload! The Cistern is breathtaking and I wouldn't miss going to experience this. Lineups are quick and efficient so don't let that dissuade you. Haigia Sofia is beautiful however please note the audio tour is confusing. The flow of walking through does not align with how each landmark is noted in audio. I would get the audio ready and simply listen to each station as you approach it.

When we arrived at Basilica there was a really long queue... I'm very impatient so I decided to check if there is a fast track and we bought it. We skipped the line very fast, in 4 minutes we were inside basilica cistern. It was amazing! Beautiful, good audio guide. The most important fact is that a minute after we entered the rain started, so if we were in the line we wouldn't make it, so I really reccomend this fast track.

It was amazing, the audioguide as well as the views were amazing. It was raining, and going straight in, without waiting any line was a blessing. The basilica is also a really centric place, so you can easily move to any other historic building. 100% recommended

No waiting in line, I bought tickets online. Lights inside are fantastic. It reminded me on a movie that was recorded there Inferno... I am definitely gona come again when ever I visit Istanbul again.

La cisterna è bellissima e bisogna assolutamente visitarla. Santa Sofia un po' deludente. Per l'ingresso a Santa Sofia abbiamo avuto seri problemi con il voucher inviato dalla compagnia perché non era quello richiesto all'ingresso. Dopo mezz'ora di discussione all'ingresso abbiamo capito di dover richiedere l'emissione di un nuovo voucher, poi arrivato, che ci ha permesso di entrare. Fare attenzione a questo aspetto. Nessun problema, invece per l'ingresso alla cisterna

Ces trois monuments valent vraiment la peine d'être visités. Cependant, pour le prix payé, je m'attendais à un audioguide nettement plus détaillé, en particulier pour le palais Topkapi, où il n'y a aucun audioguide pour le harem. De plus, en novembre, il n'y avait pas vraiment la nécessité de billets coupe-file, nous aurions mieux fair de prendre mes billets sur place. Le guide de Sainte Sophie est par contre très complet.

Entradas correctas, pero tuve problemas con la audioguía. Dificultad para compartirla, ya que compré entradas para más personas y en segundo lugar, imposible reproducirla "offline" tal como se nos informó. Yambién em gustaría indicar que cuando haces la compra, en ningún momenro se informa que para entrar al palacio hay unos horarios establecidos. Aún así, el guía nos informó muy bien.

What to bring

Basilica Cistern:

Old-school, wired earphones work best in the Basilica Cistern.

Dress snugly in warm layers. The underground can get very cold at times, so make sure you bring along a light jacket or sweater.

The cruise is held in all weather conditions and can get windy on the water. Make sure you bring a light jacket or sweater.

Basilica Cistern

The entrance has a ramp, and a wheelchair platform lift is available at the exit on Alemdar Street.

Some parts of the Basilica Cistern have uneven floors. Keep this in mind if you are a visitor with mobility difficulties.

Bosphorus cruise

The cruise is partially wheelchair accessible, but it’s recommended to contact in advance for special arrangements, as there may be limitations due to the boat’s design.

Your ticket allows you to skip the ticket queue, but all visitors must go through a security check. During the peak summer season (June to August), this can take up to 30 minutes, so plan accordingly.

Bosphorus cruise

The cruise departs near tram line no. 1 and the funicular, just steps from Dolmabahce Palace. Look for the Istanbul Welcome Card ticket window behind the red petrol station.

The Bosphorus cruise boats depart every hour. Arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes early to avoid rushing and settle in comfortably.
