Easy to purchase tickets and you could get off at whichever stop you wanted to as long as you knew which stop it was and when to press the stop button on the bus! Would have been good to have been informed beforehand that you needed to press the stop button just after the stop before the one you wanted to get off at, otherwise the bus doesn't stop!

Giro molto interessante per conoscere i punti salienti della città. È possibile scendere alla fermata che si desidera e aspettare di riprendere il bus al giro successivo (circa 1 h). Bus chiuso, ma confortevole. Personale gentile.

Trieste looked lovely , a grand old city . The bus was not as often as hop on hop off buses we are used to , only 1 bus every one or 2 hours . It was 20 minutes late collecting us from Miramare Castle and the distance from the bus stop to the castle is 1.3km, not 700m as the bus information says

From there, the bus winds through the historic streets of Trieste, showcasing sights from Roman ruins to medieval landmarks.You'll also head up San Giusto Hill, where you can spot the castle, cathedral, and ancient Roman gateways. It then makes its way through key city squares, past notable monuments, and onto the Old Port and Barcola—famous for its industrial heritage, Roman thermal baths, and scenic coastline.
