Everything went perfectly smoothly – the entry, the tour, everything. A special thank you goes to our guide, Hisham! He truly knows everything about the mosque, its history, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. Incredibly well-read and personable. He answered absolutely every question in detail and was genuinely interested in our questions. We highly recommend him!

We were collected from our hotel by (?) Hakim, a very knowledgeable, friendly & safe driver. He handed us over to the mosque staff, which is where things got a bit confusing, but after a while the tour commenced. The guide, who is blind, had good English & a detailed knowledge of the history & current uses of the mosque, which he delivered with humour. All in all a memorable experience.
