Toledo Cathedral
One of Spain’s most magnificent Gothic cathedrals took nearly 300 years to complete. Once you are inside, your guide will unlock its hidden gems—stories of power, devotion, and conspiracies that transpired within these walls. Wander through the Sacristy, lined with masterpieces from El Greco and Goya. Stand in the Chapter House, where archbishops debated matters that shaped history and soak in the hushed grandeur of the Cloisters. Then make your way to the Royal Chapel, the final resting place of kings and queens.
If time permits, your guide may also take you to St. Tomé Church, home to El Greco’s famous masterpiece The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, Santa María la Blanca, a former synagogue-turned-church, and San Juan Monastery, a stunning example of Isabelline Gothic architecture.
