    Why does anyone go to see a major attraction without skip the line tickets? We walked straight in, bypassing a long line waiting and enjoyed the cistern. It is a beautiful interior with a nice mood changing scene lighting as you walk above the water. Magical!

    Absolutely amazing! Awesome! We all loved our guide! He's a great storyteller, it was a pleasure to listen to everything he told us! Lots of new experiences and information!     The Basilica Cistern is amazing to see in person. I had no idea such a vast cavern had been right beneath my feet. Our tour guide was wonderful. Her English was perfect and she really helped us to appreciate the history of the place.
