Goreme Open Air Museum Tickets

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, getting the balloon ready, the ease of navigation skimming the cave tops to ascending into the heavens to see the sunrise and also a thank you to the burly guys who helped us in and out of the basket, quite a challenge when you're older, everything working like a well oiled clock!

La experiencia es única, debes vivirlo, nos recogieron a la hora acordada, con el fin de ver el amanecer desde el globo y fue un regalo del cielo prácticamente, nos recogieron y llevaron al hotel, toooodooo mejor de lo que lo describen en el programa, muy agradecida

Took my parents and little brother. We all loved it! My mom was super into the cave churches (she took like 100 pics, no joke). My brother kept climbing onto random rocks, which is probably not allowed but no one stopped him. The staff at the entrance were friendly and pointed us to a map. Paths are sometimes steep but manageable. Not a lot of shade, so sunscreen is your friend. We spent about 2 hours just wandering. Zelve is sooo peaceful compared to Goreme.

Went with friends, and it’s bigger than I expected! Zelve kind of feels like a movie set. The history is wild, and it’s like the rocks are telling stories if you listen close enough. A little bummed there’s not much info unless you scan the QR codes, but that’s life now, I guess. Also, the place is clean-ish but saw some trash in corners. Crowds weren’t bad, maybe because it was cloudy and kinda chilly. Bring a jacket!

I’m still thinking about those frescoes! The colors are so bright. No pictures allowed but honestly, just being there is enough. Wear comfy shoes.

If you’re in Cappadocia, don’t skip this. Bring water, wear good shoes, and be ready to walk a lot. The chapels are super old but still so COLORFUL. Some of the paths are uneven.
