We had an amazing day out, it took the stress out of hiring a car. Our tour guide Quigg and driver Fed were great. We laughed the whole day and it was really informative. We visited a viewing point to see Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway, and the Dark Hedges. They slowed down on route to show us other key points like the Giant Finn McCools face in the cliff. We didn't do the Titanic museum as we are staying in Belfast so did this the day before. But if you are visiting from Dublin it's worth adding it on as it's another great place.

Went solo and honestly, had a blast! The guide cracked so many jokes, even the dad ones landed. Learned waaay more about shipbuilding than I thought possible. Didn’t expect to get emotional about Titanic’s stories but I totally did. Place was busy but not crazy. Just a heads up—the gift shop is PRICEY, but I caved for a little ship magnet anyway.

Our family (me, hubby, and two teens) joined the tour on a rainy Tuesday. The coach was comfy and warm, which was a WIN. Guide was super chatty, maybe a bit too chatty for the teens haha. Giants Causeway was coool, but very windy, so bring a jacket! Titanic experience felt a bit rushed, wish we had 30 more mins. Still, def worth it for the views.

Honestly, this was the highlight of our Ireland trip. Our guide (shoutout to Liam!) was a walking encyclopedia and made every story sound like an adventure. Loved the little local snack stop he pointed out—got the best scone ever. Weather was hit or miss but didn’t really matter because the sights were just WHOA.

What to bring

Have your ID and tour ticket ready for a seamless experience.

Packed lunch is recommended as there is no dedicated food stop.

Bring Pounds Sterling (£) for purchases in Northern Ireland, as it is the local currency.

If traveling with a child who requires a child seat, you must bring your own.
