Went with my girlfriend and honestly, WOW – the fjord scenery was just outta this world. Waterfalls everywhere, super close too. The guide was chill, cracked a few jokes and actually knew loads about the place. We got those huge suits to wear – looked like marshmellows but stayed so warm. Bit windy but didn't feel it much. Would totally do it again, even if it’s a bit pricey. Bring gloves if ur hands get cold easy.

I did this with two friends from uni. It’s coool but man, the boat goes FAST, so if you get seasick maybe prep for that. The crew gave us all these big red suits which made us laugh, but I was happy for them once we hit the wind. Waterfalls = EPIC. Only downside was too many peeps taking selfies so sometimes hard to hear the guide. Still, v fun.

We booked last minute and they still squeezed us in (cheers to the staff!). Went solo and ended up chatting with this German couple the whole time. The guide stopped the boat right by the Seven Sisters falls and let us take a million pics. Felt safe the whole time. Def worth it if you’re in Geiranger.

Weather was super grey but didn’t matter – the fjord is STUNNING in any light. Our guide, Lina, was so friendly and pointed out a bunch of small waterfalls I totally would’ve missed. The suits kept us dry. Not cheap but honestly, I’d do it again.

Took my two kiddos (7 & 10) and both said it was the best thing all trip. They got a bit scared when the boat went super fast but the guide slowed down for us. Glad we brought hats – it’s cold on the water even in August! Didn’t love waiting for the group to get suited but worth it.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

Wear warm, windproof clothing and sturdy footwear, as weather conditions on the fjord can be unpredictable.

Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended for sun protection during the cruise.

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not permitted on board for safety reasons.
