This was one of the most memorable experience for me as a tourist in Istanbul. This cruise came with lots of surprises and fun. The meals were excellent and satisfying with varying drinks at your beck and call. The waiters were smart and friendly without patronizing. I recommend this to anyone visiting Istanbul.

What a beautiful day at the Dolmabahce Palace. It was amazing to see such a historical dwelling with extraordinary grounds. The chandeliers were breathtaking. We enjoyed our day even though it rained a bit. Such an interesting place ot discover.

Where do I start, the venue was supposed to be from 8:30-12:00 (3.5h as discribed). We met at 8 as discribed but didn't leave the dock until 9 and were back at the dock by 11. It was supposed to be four courses (i guess it is if you include the comutal bread), my ticket clearly said private table and I mentioned that (the manager told me you're just one guest, I accepted as I didn't want to make a fuss, I was just pointing it out)... I was finally moved from a table I was placed at because there was a large party and I wasn't part of it, than moved again once I complained about my situation. I'm supposed to be at a private table, instead I was at a table meant for 4 with 5 people, the guy beside me literally had his daughter sitting on his lap... (sure whatever, but the worst part is there were 20 seats empty...) Once I Identified the situation is was corrected, but it's ridiculous, I don't complain to the staff often about service but common.

All guests must go through a security screening before entering. In peak season (June to August), the line may take up to 30 minutes.

Guests with pre-booked tickets can enter the palace until 4pm.

Visit on a weekday morning, ideally near the 9am opening, for a quieter experience.

The main areas (Selamlık, Harem, and gardens) typically take 1 to 2 hours to explore. If you want to explore additional exhibits or take a break, consider setting aside extra time.

Take a break at the on-site café overlooking the Bosphorus, or stop by the gift shop for keepsakes.

Step out onto the balcony at the rear of Muayede Hall and take in panoramic views of the Bosphorus and Kabataş.

The best months to sail are April to early June and September to early November, when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are lighter.

Afternoon cruises, especially between 3pm and 6pm, tend to be busier in the summer months. Try to board between 10am and 1pm for a calmer experience.

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes earlier at the pier to grab a seat at the back—perfect for uninterrupted photos and sea views.

Vegetarian, pescetarian, and halal meal options are available—just let the staff know in advance.

Sit on the right-hand side when sailing toward Asia, and switch to the left when returning toward Europe to get the best shoreline views.
