Ich war bei der Buchung etwas skeptisch, da es hieß dass man seine Tickets erst kurz vorm Besuch digital bekommt. Aber es hat alles ohne Probleme geklappt und auch die Wartezeit am Eingang von einer halben Stunde war vertretbar. Im Louvre selber war es sehr voll und der Kampf um das Selfie mit der Mona Lisa war auch mal ein Erlebnis.

We got there early, had a very brief wait, and very much enjoyed our visit. However, the wifi outside the Louvre was week and for a while I could not open the pdf ticket. A supervisor in the entry area got it to open. After that I took a screenshot of the ticket, and that worked under the scanner. Next time I will print my tickets and take a picture just to be doubly prepared.

We had difficulty entering as tickets came on What's App and museum personally would not accept any other form of authenticity. Then we thought we reserved voice box tickets but found out we did not. It caused 15-20 min to get ready to tour the Louvre. Lack of communication and understanding caused some frustration. Louvre was very interesting.

Getting started

Arrive on time for your reserved Louvre slot, early is best to clear security, which may take 10–15 minutes. Show your ticket and ID at entry. At Angelina, use the takeaway entrance on the right side to skip the main queue and head straight in.

What’s not allowed

Flash photography, external lighting, and selfie sticks are prohibited inside the Louvre.

Large bags or suitcases are not permitted. Items exceeding 55 x 35 x 20 cm will be denied entry.Free lockers are available for smaller personal items.

Re-entry is not allowed once you leave the museum.

At Angelina, the takeaway entrance is located to the right of the main entrance for ease of access.
