Day Trips From Bordeaux

Theo was an excellent guide and conveyed his knowledge of wines extremely well. We had a good group and interacted very well especially during the wine tasting. We all enjoyed our visit to St Emilion and learnt much about the village from Theo.

Went solo and joined a group. Theo was our host, and he made everyone feel welcome. Vineyard was BEAUTIFUL but got a bit muddy in the morning (bring proper shoes, lol). Tasted some reds I’d never even heard of. The cheese pairing was def my fave part, ngl. Slightly long wait at the second chateau, but worth it for the barrel room tour.

Took my best friend for her birthday—neither of us wine experts, but we felt like pros by the end! Our guide, Marion, was so friendly and shared all these funny stories about the region. Loved the old cellars and the chocolate tasting—omg, the dark choc one is still haunting my dreams. Weather was PERFECT. Would totally do it again.

Did the tour with my partner and honestly, it was one of those days you just wanna bottle up (pun intended). Our guide, Theo, was suuuper chill but knew his stuff—kept dropping random grape facts that I had no clue about. We tried four different wines and even got a mini lesson on how to swirl the glass without looking like a doofus. Oh, and there was this coool little chocolate shop at the end—dangerous if you’re hungry! Was a bit crowded at the first stop but nobody seemed rushed. If you love stories and sips, book this.
