Stunning horsemanship. Clearly showed thr beautiful relationship between horse and rider. Especially loved the Flamenco dancer interaction with the horse and rider. It was intensly beautiful. The seating has limited areas with proper chairs. There is a large section of just bench seating which can become uncomfortable after a while, with no support during the 70 minute show. People should be aware that once the performance begins no filming or photographing is allowed.

The show was very nice and entertaining. The venue is attractive, but there is room for improvement. The lines to get in are confusing and the admission seats do not have seatbacks. The seating area is covered and gets very hot, even though it was a cool eveing. I am not sure why they cannot invest in a few fans. The website should point out that photos of the show are not allowed, but I believe there should allow them at the end of the show or something like that.

Atmosphere was fantastic. It was raining and the staff were pushed to get everyone in and seated. Did a great job. Some had to be reseated until seats could be dried. The sound for the opening was a little off. We put it down to the rain. The skill of the hirses and the riders was amazing. We have spent some time with horses so we do understand the effort made. Excellent show

Really enjoyed the equestrian show, very clever horsemanship and of course the horses were the stars of the show. Also the flamenco dancers interacting with the horses was quite unique. Would recommend to anyone if you're in Cordoba and there is a show on. Unfortunately photography not allowed, as it would distract the performers, so cannot share pics.

See two defining Andalusian traditions come together as Purebred Spanish horses, expert riders and flamenco dancers share the arena at Córdoba’s Royal Stables.

Getting started

Make your way to Córdoba Ecuestre at Calle Caballerizas Reales, 1. Open the external ticket link received after booking and present the ticket showing your allocated row.

Royal Stables of Córdoba

What to expect

Enter the historic Royal Stables, established during the reign of King Philip II to develop what became the Purebred Spanish, or Andalusian, horse. Take your seat for Pasión y Duende del Caballo Andaluz, a 70-minute performance showcasing Spanish horsemanship through classical dressage, traditional riding techniques, and haute école, accompanied by live flamenco dancers and music. If you choose the premium seating option, you'll also enjoy access to the venue 30 minutes before the show to watch the horses' preparation.

Features

Classical dressage: See horse and rider complete controlled movements requiring balance, responsiveness and close coordination.

Traditional Spanish riding: Watch routines influenced by doma vaquera, a riding style developed around livestock work in the Andalusian countryside.

Haute école: See advanced equestrian exercises that highlight the training, strength and agility of the horses.

Flamenco: Watch dancers perform alongside the horses, bringing two Andalusian art forms into a single production.

Historic venue: Experience the performance inside the Royal Stables, closely connected to the development of the Andalusian horse.
