Both the Rijksmuseum and the Lights Festival boat tour was a great experience for my first time in Amsterdam! Museum staff and service was exceptional, they allowed us to enter outside of the booked window time after we explained to them our situation and cause of delayed arrival. The boat tour was lovely, great guide who was very friendly and got to see the great art pieces a part of the festival. The hot chocolate was perfect for us in the windowless boat, since it was cold.

Wir waren zu viert dort (2 Paare) und waren alle sehr begeistert! Der Check-In waren freundlich und unkompliziert. Unser Guide hat gutes Englisch gesprochen, sehr entspannt gut drauf und hat viele wirklich interessante Dinge über Amsterdam erzählt. Es gab Decken für alle gegen die Kälte, gab also nicht's auszusetzen. Amsterdam vom Wasser aus zu erleben ist nochmal eine ganz andere Erfahrung! Wir würden wieder kommen!

I couldn't see so much for the entire tour, always tried to lift my head over the boat or squeeze into other people's open windows. The guide was funny and engaging- her voice tone was a bit too higher for my standards but for one hour is manageable :)

La beauté du Festival des Lumieres et des canaux d'Amsterdam Excellent guide avec de très bonnes explications. La note est due au fait qu'il faisait très froid dans le bateau et que la vue était limitée

Très bonne expérience, permet de bien voir l'architecture d’amsterdam et le festival des lumières. Finalement la croisière ne dure que 1 heure et pas 1h15... mais pas déçu de cette activité !!

Xtracold Icebar is an Arctic-themed bar kept at a chilling –10°C, with everything made entirely of ice. Step into the Arctic right in the heart of Amsterdam.

Discover Amsterdam’s canals on a 75-minute cruise from the City Centre, gliding past buildings and bridges along the UNESCO-listed waterways.

Pets are not allowed due to venue restrictions, except on the private cruise.

Only service dogs (clearly identifiable as such) are permitted on the boat.

Cruises are conducted in English.

Boats are covered, but outdoor areas may still be chilly during winter months.

Management may refuse entry if guests are intoxicated, underage, or cannot prove their age.

Arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled timeslot for check-in.

You can spend up to 20 minutes inside the Icebar.

Last admission is 45 minutes before closing.

Tickets can be rescheduled or canceled up to 8 hours in advance.

The Xtracold Icebar is open Sunday to Thursday from 3:45pm to 10:40pm, and Friday to Saturday from 11:45am to 1am.

Children under 18 are not allowed inside.

The Icebar is kept at –10°C.

Nearest public transport: Waterlooplein (tram 14 & metro 51, 53, 54).
