National Museum of Denmark
The National Museum of Denmark offers an incredible journey through 14,000 years of history, from prehistoric times to the modern era. Marvel at the impressive Viking artifacts, including swords, shields, and silver hoards that were traded across Europe and the Middle East. A display of medieval treasures includes ornate wooden altarpieces and ivory crucifixes from historic Danish churches, alongside a remarkable royal collection of coins and medals. You can also enjoy interactive experiences in the Children's Museum's reconstructed Viking longhouse, while the Ethnographic Collection showcases cultural artifacts from around the world.
