Next up is the Göreme Open Air Museum. The UNESCO site is one of the oldest settlements in Cappadocia, where you can see the cave town dwellings that were built into the sides of the rock formations. Once the harmonious residence of Christians and Muslims, the place has now become a ghost town owing to unsafe erosion.
