Der Vienna-Pass bot definitiv eine ideale Weise, in drei Tagen so viel wie möglich von Wien kennenzulernen. Ob die großen Paläste wie Schönbrunn, oder das Literaturmuseum, von dem ich vorher nichts wusste, und das mich zutiefst beeindruckte, und natürlich das Riesenrad am Prater: alles war im Pass drin. Die verschienen Hop-on, Hop-Off Buslinien waren sehr praktisch für weiter entfernte Ziele wie Belvedere oder eben Schönbrunn, allerdings würde ich in Zukunft darauf aufmerksam machen, dass sie erst ab neun und im Prinzip nicht mehr nach 17:00, 18:00 Uhr fahren; hier wich ich stattdessen auf die U-Bahn aus, die jedoch günstig ist (gerade im Vergleich zu anderen stätten). Insgesamt bin ich begeistert und würde bei einem zukünftigen Besuch den Vienna Pass wieder buchen.

Mit der Vienna Card lassen sich die Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr einfach und unkompliziert besichtigen. Wir hatten die Pässe digital und konnten diese so einfach am Drehkreuz oder der Kasse vorweisen. Ein Abholen des Passes war somit nicht nötig. Damit sich der Preis rechtfertigt muss man einige Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen, ansonsten kann man auch Einzeleintritte kaufen. Beim Schloss Schönbrunn lohnt es sich früh dort zu sein um einen frühzeitige Slot zu kriegen, bei allen anderen Aktivitäten funktioniert es sehr gut mittels walk in.

Wenn man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen möchte, lohnt sich der Vienna Pass auf jeden Fall. Wir hatten den 6 Tage Pass, auch wenn es sich, am Anfang teuer anhört, haben wir durch ein reges Inanspruchnahme, des Passes, den Betrag, locker wieder reingeholt. Schließlich gehört auch der Hop on Hop off Bus , auf allen Linien, an den gesamten Tagen, mit dazu.

Bought the vienna pass for 2 days ( during off season) It was easy to use and i was able to see alot. I Went to the belvedere castle, ferris wheel, schönbrunn castle, sisi museum, the museum for the crowned jewels, leopold museum, Danube tower and used the hop on hop off busses as well as the train in schönbrunn. I recommend planning your day well, to get the most out of your card. Some attractions have timeslots or need reservations before hand. Some open early and others are open late. I highly recommend talking to people at "VPG Vienna PASS GmbH" to get your guide and information about this. The pass for example did not include all the rooms at the schönbrunn Castle. However I was able to gain full entrance with a 9 euro upgrade, which was totally worth it. It's hard to use the hop on hop off busses as the only mode of transport. I recommend getting getting a public transport card as well ( especially if you want to optimise you time), they are available for purchase at all subway stations. I paid 14 euros for 48 hours. Vienna public transport was pretty easy to navigate with Google maps. It also gives a lot more flexibility.

Validity:

Activated: Your pass is valid for the full number of consecutive calendar days you purchased.

Non-activated: Your pass is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
