Getting started
Your island adventure begins with a scenic round-trip ferry ride from Brisbane to Moreton Island. Upon arrival, check in at the Tangalooma Island Resort, complete a brief indemnity form, and collect your equipment to kickstart your day of exploration and excitement.
What to expect
Choose between two exciting options—Adventure Day Pass or Adventure Activities Pass—for a day packed with activities both on land and in the water, all while enjoying full access to resort amenities.
Adventure Day Pass (if selected)
- Enjoy unlimited access to land sports like tennis, volleyball, croquet, table tennis, basketball, badminton, mini golf, and cricket.
- Includes watersports equipment hire with up to 3 hours of kayak and snorkel gear (with wetsuit) and 1 hour of stand-up paddleboarding.
Adventure Activities Pass (if selected)
- Includes all land sports mentioned above.
- Pick any 3 from a selection of immersive activities:
- Beach Segway tour
- Fish-feeding tour with sightseeing cruise
- Guided snorkel tour of the Tangalooma Wrecks
- Sea scooter safari (only with snorkel tour)
- 3-hour kayak or snorkel gear hire with wetsuit

Resort amenities
Between activities, relax or refresh at the Tangalooma Island Resort. You'll have access to two outdoor swimming pools, shower and toilet facilities, and several dining and café options including Fire & Stone Restaurant, Beach Café, and the B&B’s resort bar. A convenience store is also on-site for snacks and essentials.

Enjoy hassle-free round-trip ferry transfers from Brisbane with up to 8 hours to explore Moreton Island. All necessary equipment and national park fees are included, so you can focus on making memories.
What to bring
- Bring along your swimsuit, towel, spare clothes, sunglasses, hat, and eco-friendly sunscreen for your adventure.
- Pack your meds – better to be prepared, just in case they’re not available onsite.
- Bring local currency or your preferred payment method for meals, souvenirs, and extra delights not covered by the ticket.
- If you do have asthma, you are required to bring your Ventolin with you to be able to participate in the tour.
What's not allowed
- Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for children aged under 6 years.
Accessibility
- This experience is not accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.
- Moreton Island is a remote wilderness location, approximately 75 minutes from the mainland. For this reason, it is strongly advised that heavily pregnant guests reconsider their visit.
- Participation in some of the tours and activities is physically demanding and may pose a health or safety risk. For your safety, you must disclose if you are suffering from any injury, or pre-existing medical condition (such as, but not limited to, epilepsy, asthma, or cardiovascular conditions) which may interfere with your ability to safely participate in the activities.
- People with pregnancies need to provide a medical certificate from a doctor approving their participation in the tour activities.
Additional information
- Children aged under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the island.
- A medical questionnaire must be completed and signed by all passengers. For children aged under 16 years, the questionnaire must be signed by a parent or a guardian.
